EXPERIENCE DESIGN, HAYMAKERS FOR HOPE
I directed and executed the Haymakers for Hope online platform redesign, including: user pathways, marketing position, visual identity, profile UX, donations UX, and e-commerce design integration.
Haymakers for Hope (H4H) is an official 501(c)(3) charity organization that gives participants the opportunity to fight back against cancer. H4H runs sanctioned, charity boxing events that raise millions of dollars for cancer research, care, awareness, and survivorship worldwide. In May 2017, at The House of Blues in Boston, I was a competitor. My donation included the website redesign.
Homepage Design with Menu & Navigation
The experience is grounded in a continuous scrolling homepage that utilizes a consistent navigation across all deep-dive pages. This navigation enables easy exploration throughout event, fighter, and blog content.

Search & Tagging
The site experience uses a take-over search and tagging system that enables content to be organized by fighter or event specific information. The search simplifies fighter discovery and enables a fighter’s supporters easy wayfinding.
Fighter Education
The uniqueness of the program also makes demonstration a challenge. We designed the Fighter Story Page to introduce the program and set expectations for prospective participants.

Fighter Profile Pages
Every fighter is required to promote themselves in order to raise donations. Fighters needed an optimized profile page that conveyed donations, progress, and goals to their sponsors.
