A Massachusetts family was seeking to redesign the interior of their Bay-view residence. Humble in size, the client was seeking a modern, Finnish aesthetic with high-end details and finishes. The interior architecture nods to the sailing culture present in the community.
Each brass fixture was custom designed and fabricated to connect with the spatial needs and unique theme of the space. Glass bowls with brass fittings and brass welds are peppered throughout home.
Throughout the bathrooms and kitchen, angular Walnut panels nod to the sailing community while also contrasting the White Oak flooring.
The family was looking to combine a modern aesthetic with a nod to the homes ocean views. The imagery surrounding the home then inspired a color palette and material treatment used in different ways throughout the home.
